COVID-19 Update for Calvary

May 18, 2022

Dear Calvary Church Family,

Calvary’s Session continues to monitor current state and local guidelines in response to COVID-19.  We are making a few changes to our policies in light of changing city and county guidelines.

Please remember there are still a variety of comfort levels and opinions.  We seek to glorify Christ by loving each other well and respecting the opinions of others.

Below are our guidelines:
  • Masks are optional.
  • If you are feeling unwell, please remain at home and worship with us online using Facebook, YouTube, or via our website (
  • Elders serving communion will continue wearing masks but will no longer wear gloves.
  • As always, please continue to respect the various opinions and comfort levels regarding physical distancing that exist in our congregation.

We desire to encourage worship that glorifies Christ as we strive to provide a safe environment.  Ultimately, we are asking God to give us grace to “walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which (we) have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bonds of peace” (Ephesians 4:1b-3).

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 recommendations of healthcare professionals and communicate any adjustments to our guidelines as needed.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact one of us.

Grace and peace,
The Calvary Session
