PROVIDE GIFTS TO GATEWAY WOMEN’S CARE THIS SEASON:
The Wiggs/Camenisch Life Group is sponsoring a collection drive for gift bag items for Calvary Ministry Partner, Gateway Women’s Care, who gives compassionate care to women and men in the Raleigh Durham community by providing medical services, educational materials, and support/resources relating to pregnancy and other health issues.

Gateway provides about 80 gift bags per month to clients who come to their facilities. It is amazing how these small gift bags open up opportunities for deeper discussions. Now through December 16, help us meet our goal of filling 40 gift bags by giving the following items:

candy or small snack size chocolate
• “girly” looking small notebook/pen
toiletry items: mirror, small perfume, gift soap, bath bombs, mini tissues, etc.
beauty items: nail polish, nail file, mascara, small hand lotion, eyeshadow, make up remover, face mask packets, etc.
• any little inspirational items, such as a bookmark
• If you have other ideas, email Lisa Gyori at tgyori@usa.net.

Place your donated items in the collection basket in the church lobby.

NEW! CHILDREN’S WORSHIP AT CALVARY:
We are investing in our children by discipling them in our Children’s Worship Program. Children (age 5 to 11 years) will be dismissed from the Worship Service just prior to the sermon for Children’s Worship, which will include:
• Bible Lessons – Book of Acts for 2019/2020
• Hands-on Activities to reinforce Bible Lessons
• Scripture Memorization
• Exploring Elements of Worship
• Prayer
• Learning about our Missionaries

Children will return to worship service shortly before Communion. Each of the leaders working in our Children’s Worship Program has completed a background check and Ministry Safe Child Protection Training.

NURSERY ON SUNDAY MORNING CARES FOR AGES 0 – 4: We love children at Calvary! We count it a privilege to serve the youngest in our midst and their families. Nursery on Sunday morning cares for little ones ages 0 – 4 during the entire 10:30 AM worship service.

CHILD PROTECTION: Calvary seeks to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all nursery workers (paid and volunteer) and children. As a precaution and to ensure strict accountability from one adult to another, we have instituted Ministry Safe Child-Protection Training. All active Calvary elders, nursery, children and youth workers must undergo a background check process, and child-protection training through Ministry Safe. For a complete list of safeguards, visit: calvarypca.org/nursery.

HEARING ASSISTANCE DEVICES: Calvary’s renovated facility recently installed a Hearing Loop System. This system provides the capability for telecoil equipped hearing aids or cochlear implants to directly connect with the sound system. Loop receivers will be available for those whose hearing assistive device do not include the T-coil.

If you are unsure if your hearing device will connect to this system, please check with your audiologist or hearing aid specialist. Pick up a Hearing Loop brochure Sunday at the Welcome Table that explains looping and has checklist questions on the back.

MID-DAY REVIVAL PRAYER, WEDNESDAYS, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM:
Come join the small group that faithfully gathers at 11:30 AM for one hour of Revival Prayer each Wednesday, in Classroom #3 so that Calvary would truly be a House of Prayer for all the Nations! Note: There will be no prayer meeting this Wednesday, November 20.
