In April 2023, we introduced The Witnesses Initiative, a two-year vision initiative based on Jesus’ words in Acts 1:8, “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.”
As part of this initiative, we prayerfully took steps to call an Assistant Pastor of Equipping, Wes Martin, who will be coming on staff on June 16, and whose role will be to equip the saints to answer Jesus’ call to be His witnesses where we are and where we have been sent.
This spring 2024, we launched a four-week Witnesses Refresh sermon series through Romans 12, as a way to be reminded of the commitment we have made as a congregation to be Christ’s witnesses together in this community and through our partnerships throughout the world.
We are asking everyone at Calvary to prayerfully consider how the Lord is calling you to use your time, talent and treasure, as we continue in this journey together.
