HYMNS OF CELEBRATION & PRAISE
Bless the Lord (10,000 Reasons) by Myrin & Redman

CHORUS: Bless the Lord O my soul O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before O my soul
I’ll worship Your holy name

The sun comes up it’s a new day dawning
It’s time to sing Your song again
Whatever may pass and whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes CHORUS

You’re rich in love and You’re slow to anger
Your name is great and Your heart is kind
For all Your goodness I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find CHORUS

And on that day when my strength is failing
The end draws near and my time has come
Still my soul will sing Your praise unending
Ten thousand years and then forevermore CHORUS

Worship Your holy name
Lord I’ll worship Your holy name

Blessed Be Your Name by Matt & Beth Redman

Blessed be Your Name in the land that is plentiful,
Where Your streams of abundance flow – Blessed be Your Name.
Blessed be Your Name when I’m found in the desert place.
Though I walk through the wilderness – Blessed be Your Name.

CHORUS: Every blessing You pour out I’ll turn back to praise.
When the darkness closes in Lord, still I will say –
Blessed be the name of the Lord, Blessed be Your Name.
Blessed be the name of the Lord – Blessed be Your Glorious Name.

Blessed be Your Name when the sun’s shining down on me.
When the world’s all as it should be – Blessed be Your Name.
Blessed be Your Name on the road marked with suffering.
Though there’s pain in the offering – Blessed be Your Name.

CHORUS: Every blessing You pour out I’ll turn back to praise.
When the darkness closes in Lord, still I will say –
Blessed be the name of the Lord, Blessed be Your Name.
Blessed be the name of the Lord – Blessed be Your Glorious Name.

You give and take away. You give and take away.
My heart will choose to say – Lord, blessed be Your Name.

Blessed be the name of the Lord, Blessed be Your Name.
Blessed be the name of the Lord – Blessed be Your Glorious Name.

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE

SCRIPTURE READING – Dax Palmer
Luke 10:25-37

And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”

But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him he passed by on the other side. So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’ Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.”

See Things Differently

SACRAMENT OF COMMUNION – Pastor James Sutton

COMMUNION HYMN
By Faith by Getty & Townend

By faith we see the hand of God
In the light of creation’s grand design
In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness
Who walk by faith and not by sight

By faith our fathers roamed the earth
With the power of His promise in their hearts
Of a holy city built by God’s own hand
A place where peace and justice reign

CHORUS: We will stand as children of the promise
We will fix our eyes on Him our soul’s reward
Till the race is finished and the work is done
We’ll walk by faith and not by sight

By faith the prophets saw a day
When the longed-for Messiah would appear
With the power to break the chains of sin and death
And rise triumphant from the grave

By faith the church was called to go
In the power of the Spirit to the lost
To deliver captives and to preach good news
In every corner of the earth

CHORUS: We will stand as children of the promise
We will fix our eyes on Him our soul’s reward
Till the race is finished and the work is done
We’ll walk by faith and not by sight

By faith this mountain shall be moved
And the power of the gospel shall prevail
For we know in Christ all things are possible
For all who call upon His name CHORUS (2 times)

We’ll walk by faith and not by sight
