Life Groups

Life Groups are currently reading and practicing a short book on loving our next-door neighbors:

Placed for a Purpose: A Simple and Sustainable Vision for Loving Your Next-Door Neighbors, by Chris and Elizabeth McKinney, instructs believers on how to take small weekly steps as we seek to reach our neighbors, North Carolina, and the nations for Jesus.

GET CONNECTED

One of Calvary’s Core Values is “Life Together,” which means  that we desire to walk alongside one another in the midst of our struggles, joys, sins, growth and renewal.  It means we know one another well enough to speak the truth in love and engage sin and weakness with humility (Eph. 4:15, Gal. 6:1-3).  Life Groups are one way we seek to grow in Gospel-centered relationships with one another.

A typical Life Group gathering includes good food, great conversation, and an opportunity to share our struggles and pray with and for one another. Life Groups also go deeper with conversation and discussion centered around that week’s sermon and how the truth of Scripture applies to our day-to-day lives.
